We welcome members of the public who wish to visit our Libraries. The Libraries are open to the public during most of their operating hours. However, our doors close to the public after 10 pm, Sunday-Thursday. Community members under the age of 18 must abide by the Use of Libraries by Minors policy

Community members who register with the Libraries can use our community computers, access most of our online resources, and check out up to five items at a time, free of charge. To register as a community computer user (computer use only) or a community borrower (able to borrow materials and use the computers), you must present a valid Georgia ID, be over the age of 18, and bring proof of address for a Georgia residence at one of the Libraries' information desks.

Community members with research questions may reach out to us in person, by phone, or online for free research help.

Community members cannot reserve study rooms, but they can use one of our limited first-come, first-served study rooms if they are available.
