Students lose library privileges after graduation and when they are not enrolled in coursework. However, students enrolled in classes for fall semester will have access to library resources over the summer semester. 

AU faculty and staff borrowing and online database access privileges expire once they are no longer employed by AU. However, emeritus faculty have the same privileges as currently employed AU faculty.

You may sign up as a community borrower if you're interested in checking out materials if you are not enrolled or employed at AU. Most of our online materials are accessible on campus whether or not you are enrolled or employed at the University. Interlibrary loan and GIL Express services are not available for community borrowers.
